Royal Lancaster Hotel

London

In 2017, we had the privilege of working on the Royal Lancaster Hotel’s 50th anniversary renovation. As one of the most iconic and prestigious 5-star hotels in London, the Royal Lancaster Hotel was looking to update its interiors to create an even more luxurious and comfortable experience for its guests.

As a team, we worked closely with Interior Designer David Morris for three years prior to the renovation, ensuring that every detail was meticulously planned out. Our team’s primary responsibilities were to make sure that the 12 different room type specifications were accurate, all of the costs were correct, and that the installation was feasible.

During the initial stages of the project, we conducted extensive research to gain a deeper understanding of the Royal Lancaster Hotel’s brand identity and the expectations of its guests. This helped us create a clear vision for the renovation and ensure that every design element was in line with the hotel’s overall style and aesthetic.

One of the biggest challenges we faced during this project was the sheer scale of the renovation. With 12 different room types to consider, we needed to create a cohesive design that would work well across all of them, while also meeting the individual needs of each room.

We also had to carefully manage the budget, as costs could quickly escalate on such a large project. Our team worked tirelessly to find ways to reduce costs without sacrificing quality or design. The end result was a stunning hotel that was both modern and luxurious, while still retaining its iconic façade and prestigious location.

The Royal Lancaster Hotel’s 50th anniversary renovation was a challenging and rewarding project for our team. It was a true testament to our ability to work collaboratively with clients and designers to create a stunning end result. We are grateful for the opportunity to have worked on such a prestigious project.
